Meet the Director

Cristina Calderon is thrilled to lead the UPAAN Mentorship Program. Her passion for mentorship stems from the serendipitous connections she made with mentors who have not only empowered her, but also inarguably altered the trajectory of her career. Recognizing that traditional mentoring often overlooks Hispanics and other underrepresented minorities (URM), Cristina is dedicated to paying it forward. Through this program, she aims to make mentorship accessible to UPA students, so they too feel empowered to take their future by storm.
